We reimagined the Chelsea boot silhouette. The 2976 was born. The slip-on style with elasticized sides makes this a versatile, easy-to-wear shoe. But it packs plenty of DM's attitude. The stretchy, grooved sole is finished with our signature yellow stitching, and the iconic AirWair tongue sits at the heel. The durable Smooth leather can show signs of wear or be polished—the choice is yours.
Material
Smooth is our classic leather: with us from day one. Known for being particularly stiff in the first few days, it can take on a particularly patina-like appearance if buffed or left to show signs of aging.

Care instructions
Remove dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or matching wax-based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens shoe brush to restore the desired shine.

Manufacturing
This is a Goodyear-welted product. Unlike many shoes, the upper and sole are not simply glued but heat-sealed and held together by a stitching.
